In this panel session, the authors of The Equity Myth: Racialization and Indigeneity at Canadian Universities reflect on how their work has been taken up and understood by individuals and institutions across Canada. The authors will reflect on how the work has mobilized equity efforts in the university, thinking about which themes, concerns, and questions have been heard and responded to. Equally, the authors will discuss which concerns and themes in their work have been left behind in actions and discourses around present equity work, reflecting on if and why certain issues presented in their work have garnered response while others have received less engagement.
