At both the undergraduate and graduate level, students want to make meaning out of their degrees, and understand how the skills they learn in the classroom will translate into their professional lives. This interactive and hands-on session will highlight some initiatives designed to support career development for humanities and social science students, and offer strategies, best practices, and space for conversation around how faculty and instructors can support career development for their students.

Speakers:
  • Danielle Barkley, Graduate Educator, Centre for Student Involvement & Careers (CSIC), UBC
