What (else) can I do with my degree in…? Answering this question requires a) understanding your skills, values, and goals and b) understanding norms, values and expectations of different professional sectors. This interactive workshop is hosted by UBC’s graduate career educator, Danielle Barkley, who holds a PhD in English literature. It will focus on providing information, resources, and tools for understanding and articulating the skills acquired through disciplinary training, and making sense of how to connect those skills to a range of career opportunities.
