Following the great success of hosting the XIX ISA World Congress of Sociology in 2018, the Canadian Sociological Association returns to the FHSS Congress for its 53rd Annual Conference. Panels, presentation sessions, and roundtables have been organized in 40 themes within the field of sociology. Themes include sociological teaching techniques, methods, theory, and research on a variety of topics such as children and youth, equality, Indigenous studies, immigration, health, culture, violence and many other crucial sociological topics. Our Conference will provide delegates the opportunity to disseminate their findings and to learn from other researchers and practitioners. Professional development, receptions, and research cluster meetings round out our expansive program. Join the more than 600 projected delegates from Canada and abroad from July 3 through 6.
