We are the Canadian Association for Social Work Education – Association canadienne pour la formation en travail social (CASWE-ACFTS), a national association that supports the promotion of excellence in social work education, practice, and scholarship. We invite you to join us for our 2019 conference, June 3rd to 6th, as we explore the theme, CIRCLES OF CONVERSATION: Engaging in Social Justice through Transformative Action. Held in conjunction with The University of British Columbia’s School of Social Work, this year’s conference will aim to provide a much needed space for social work scholars, practitioners, researchers, students, social service providers, and users to gather together to critically seek ways to move beyond the rhetoric of social justice into transformative action. We look forward to seeing and exchanging with you in Vancouver for three days of stimulating presentations, dialogue circles, art spaces, skill-enhancing workshops, engaging keynote speakers and more!
