If your work in the social sciences or humanities relates in any way to the environment, then the 2019 ESAC Annual Conference is for you! ESAC is Canada’s leading association of interdisciplinary researchers and practitioners involved in a diversity fields relating to the environment. Our Annual Conference aims to produce a collaborative and collegial setting for professional scholars, graduate students, and other environment practitioners to share their recent research and learn from one another about sustainability. In addition to providing a platform to discuss your research, the conference features interesting keynote speakers, special panels highlighting current events, special opportunities for graduate students, and an annual environment-themed field trip (and much more). Special to ESAC 2019, we are launching a new initiative to enable panelists to participate in the conference digitally as a means of reducing the climatic footprint of having all participants fly to Vancouver.
