In keeping with the Congress theme “Circles of Conversation,” the title of our 2019 conference is "Music Connects: Building a circle of relationships between universities and communities." This year, we encourage presentations and interactive sessions that explore relationships between academia and communities: local, provincial, national and international. Presentations that foster and/or reflect upon circles of research and/or conversation among academics, teachers, students, artists/composers, and the public at large would be most welcome. We also encourage presentations and sessions that focus on diversity, inclusion and community outreach in relation to music in general or on other key topics identified by the Congress of Humanities and Social Sciences.
