** Statement and letter from the Federation regarding a Congress 2019 incident **

June 5, 2019 - On June 2, the Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences received a complaint from a Congress participant who informed us that he had been the victim of harassment and racial profiling by another participant. The Federation is treating this incident very seriously as it unequivocally opposes and denounces anti-Black racism, racial profiling, harassment and discrimination of any kind.
